The Society

Now in its eleventh season, the Lymington Film Society is a society for those interested in film beyond the broad range of movies available on general release. From October to May each year we run a season of films all of which have been chosen for their subject matter as well as cinematic appeal. The majority of our films are foreign language with English subtitles, and are shown on the Fuller-McClellan Hall at the Lymington Centre. Occasionally we show an English language film in the Malt Hall at the Lymington Centre, where the sound quality is better. Films are shown on the second Sunday of the month.

Annual membership costs £25 and entitles holders to free admission to all films and social events of the society.

Members must also be members of the Lymington Community Association, which costs £19.00 for the year (£31.00 for couples).

Non members can buy tickets for £7.00 per film on the door. If you are a member of the Lymington Community Association but not the Film Society, tickets are £6.00

Please apply for membership at the Lymington Centre. They have a system where you join the Lymington Centre and tell them you also want LFS membership, so there’s no need for a separate LFS membership form.
